Nut Butter Smoothie

Smoothies are such a great way to start your day with fruits, protein, veggies, and some deliciousness all in one.  We always start our day with a great big smoothie.  This keeps us full until lunch time and provides us the nutrition and energy we need to tackle the day.  Since we have been drinking daily breakfast smoothies for years, our body just craves it after good long and hard workout.

The fun part about smoothies is that it seems you can just dump any type of fruits, vegetable, liquid (milk or coconut water), nut butters, and protein powders into the blender and it just always turns out AH-MAZING!

This smoothie is addicting and tastes like a nut butter cup!  Who doesn’t want a healthy version of that to boost their day!

 Nut Butter Smoothie

  • 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder or collagen peptides
  • 1 banana
  • 2 tablespoons cacao powder
  • 2 tablespoons nut butter
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1/4 cup dry oats
  • 1 cup non dairy milk

Blend all ingredients well in a blend.  Sip and Enjoy!
