Raspberry Chia Seed Jam

Fruited chia seed jam is the easiest thing you can make. If you have 5 minutes to spare, you can make this jam super easily. It does not require making a big batch to can.  You can make as much as you need to have on hand in the fridge.  This jam tastes super delicious and fresh.  This chia jam knocks any store-bought canned jam out of the water!

The chia replaces the gelatin in store-bought jams.  Chia absorbs water and takes on a jelly-like form which creates the jam.  Chia seeds are so full of amazing health benefits.  They may be tiny little seeds but they are an excellent source of omega-3 benefits. Chia seeds also are high in antioxidants, fiber, iron, and calcium.

This jam tastes so good, spread on literally everything and anything.

Ingredients

1 cup frozen raspberries
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 tablespoon maple syrup

Instructions

Cook frozen raspberries on medium heat in a small saucepan.  Cook until the raspberries breakdown and are no longer frozen.  Mix in chia seeds and maple syrup.

Let jam cool, and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.  The mixture will become jam like the next day.  Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
